Description: Hex jam nut manufactured to ASME B18.2.2 with UNC threads and thread class 2B. The nut has a reduced height compared to a standard hex nut, making it suitable for use as a locknut when tightened against a primary nut. Available in carbon steel, Grade 2 or Grade 5, with zinc plated or plain finish. Sizes range from 1/4-20 UNC to 1-8 UNC. For quotation, specify diameter, thread series, grade, finish, and required quantity.
