How orders are quoted, paid and delivered
These are the terms we can work to. What applies to your order is confirmed on the proforma invoice.
Trade terms
We quote against the term you ask for. If you are not sure which one suits your route, tell us the destination and we will suggest one.
- EXW Ex Works
- You arrange collection from our warehouse and handle export formalities.
- FCA Free Carrier
- We clear the goods for export and hand them to your forwarder at the agreed place.
- FOB Free On Board
- We deliver on board at the port of loading; sea freight and insurance are yours.Quoted by default unless you ask for another term.
- CFR Cost and Freight
- We pay sea freight to your destination port; insurance is yours.
- CIF Cost, Insurance and Freight
- We pay sea freight and cargo insurance to your destination port.
Payment
Sample and trial orders are deliberately easy to pay for, so a first order does not require a bank visit. Production orders follow the deposit and balance split agreed on the proforma invoice.

Lead time

The committed date for your order is stated on the proforma invoice. Lead time depends on whether the size is in stock, on the order quantity and on any finish or documentation the order requires.
