Hex Nut, Product Grade C
A hex nut with the widest tolerances, intended for structural steelwork and general construction where precise alignment is not required. It is tightened with a standard wrench or socket. Use it with a bolt of matching strength so the bolt fails before the nut strips. Do not use in machined assemblies that need close fits.
