Drop-In Anchor
A drop-in anchor is an internally threaded sleeve that is set into a drilled hole in concrete. It is installed by driving the sleeve down with a setting tool until the internal plug expands the lower end, locking the anchor in place. A threaded rod or bolt is then threaded into the anchor to secure the fixture. Used on handrails, machinery, and structural attachments to concrete.
