Interchangeable: Not exactly. Same thread, but the head is higher in ISO 10642 at 10 sizes (M10: 5.5 mm in DIN 7991, 6.2 mm in ISO 10642); the head diameter is larger in ISO 10642 at 10 sizes (M10: 20 mm in DIN 7991, 22.4 mm in ISO 10642). Order to the number on your drawing.
Which to order: ISO 10642 for new drawings. It replaced DIN 7991, and if your drawing says DIN 7991, we make DIN 7991.
Sizes: M3 to M20 in both. DIN 7991 also has M18, M22 and M24. ISO 10642 also has M2 and M2.5.
